Developer Ravine Games has opened registrations for a new closed beta playtest of RAEV: Kingdom on the Distant Shores, running from March 26 to March 30 on PC via Steam. Players can sign up now to get early access to the kingdom-building experience and help shape development through feedback.

The beta offers a first hands-on look at core systems, including flexible, gridless city building with modular structures, allowing players to design and expand their settlements freely. Participants will also manage different regions across the continent of Nytland, adapting their strategies to varied climates such as forests and frozen tundras, while maintaining trade routes, defending territories, and growing their empire.
RAEV: Kingdom on the Distant Shores blends city building with broader strategic management, placing players in the role of a ruler guiding a civilization of Raevins, a race of fox-like inhabitants with distinct roles and traits. The game combines exploration, diplomacy, and warfare, letting players choose between peaceful expansion or conquest, while developing their kingdom across diverse biomes and evolving systems. The title is currently in development for PC via Steam, set to launch in 2026.
